Rocky Mountain Featherbed × Nigel Cabourn
AUTUMN / WINTER 2024
A long-awaited collaboration project that brings together talented vintage collectors.
A capsule collection of 8 items is now available.
The color combination that is characteristic of Rocky Mountain Featherbed x Nigel Cabourn is also a must-see.
"It began with a promised reunion."
Nigel picked out archives that interested him from Teramoto Kinji's Rocky Mountain Featherbed vintage collection of over 200 items, and then incorporated them into his own style using the over 4,000 vintage items he owns as reference. Teramoto's attention to detail as an archivist is sprinkled throughout to create a capsule collection of his own. Rocky Mountain Featherbed is celebrating its 50th anniversary, and at the 100th anniversary of the ascent of Everest by British mountaineer George Mallory, who has long been a focus of attention for Nigel Cabourn, these two world-famous vintage collectors have created an archive of the future.
Down Vest Clip
This is an original model that does not use a single piece of leather yoke, which is an icon of Rocky Mountain Featherbed. The metal hook on the front is known as a fireman's clip, and it follows the details that were originally used by staff who served on the deck of a ship. This is a down vest that can only be created by two people with a deep knowledge of military vintage.

Down Vest Mountain Camo
This down vest maintains the classic Rocky Mountain Featherbed design while making use of Nigel Cabourn's unique fabric sense. It uses Harry Stevenson's hybrid cotton material and a printed fabric with a "Mountain Camo" pattern.

MP Mountain Camo
A classic design that has been loved for over 40 years. Designed in the UK by Nigel Cabourn, Rocky Mountain Featherbed's famous MP jacket features an iconic single piece of leather yoke that is tanned and chrome dyed. The tanning preserves the natural patina of the leather, while the chrome finish adds durability. For extra durability, it also features leather elbow patches.

MP Dry Wax
Rocky Mountain Featherbed's famous MP jacket is available in two colors: multi-tone panel jacket with a beautiful mix of four colors, and blue. The texture of the Harry Stephenson hybrid cotton fabric has a slightly matte finish, and it not only protects against rain, snow, and wind, but also wicks away unpleasant moisture such as sweat.

DSS 1969
The DSS (Down Short Shell) is based on a rare vintage Rocky Mountain Featherbed from the 1970s. The neck structure is unique and can be used as a collar or a stand-up collar. This short-length down jacket is useful for horse riders, as it does not cling to the body. The unique single-piece leather yoke of Rocky Mountain Featherbed is dyed with tannin and chrome, with the tannin retaining the natural texture and the chrome finishing increasing durability.

WS Christy Jacket
The Christy Jacket is a masterpiece item from Rocky Mountain Featherbed. This model is inspired by the rare ladies' version of the Christy Jacket, and is the only women's down jacket in the collection. The leather yoke, which retains its natural texture and has a chrome finish for durability, is cut for women, with a deeper central peak and a different shape from the men's leather yoke.
