The Christy Jacket is a signature piece that represents the heart of RMFC. Inspired by 1970s American outdoor wear, it features a one-piece leather yoke and a luxurious genuine mouton collar, delivering a bold yet timeless design that remains unmatched.
The outer and inner fabrics are made from RMFC’s original 70-denier nylon taffeta, a material developed during the brand’s revival. Carefully researched and reproduced from vintage garments, this fabric captures the spirit of heritage while incorporating modern performance. Its three-layer construction functions as a built-in down pack, significantly improving thermal retention while remaining exceptionally lightweight.
The insulation is filled with high-quality European water-repellent down, made of 90 percent down and 10 percent feather with a 700 fill power. Unlike standard down that loses heat when wet, this treated down retains warmth even in rain or snow, offering confidence in any weather. The jacket is as reliable in the mountains as it is in the city.
The signature yoke is crafted from a combination-tanned leather using both vegetable and chrome tanning techniques. Dyed with pigments that allow the natural texture to show through, the leather evolves over time, gaining character and depth. The mouton collar is soft, insulating, and fits snugly around the neck, adding extra protection against the cold.

Due to the nature of down feathers, some feather leakage may occur as breathability is necessary.
If feathers come through the fabric, do not pull them out forcibly. Instead, gently push them back inside from the reverse side.

This product uses natural leather with “natural marks,” preserving the material’s unique texture.
Color variations, scratches, and wrinkles may appear and are characteristics of genuine leather, adding to its charm.
Edges of leather parts may slightly lift as part of the design.
If the leather feels dry or stiff, we recommend using leather care cream to maintain softness and extend its life.
