The MICHEL is a women’s down jacket that reimagines classic style with modern functionality. Featuring a one-piece cowhide leather yoke and a genuine mouton collar, this original RMFC model is based on the iconic CHRISTY jacket but designed with a longer silhouette for enhanced warmth and an elegant profile.
The outer and lining fabrics are made from RMFC’s signature 70-denier nylon taffeta, developed at the time of the brand's revival. Faithfully reproducing vintage nylon in appearance, this lightweight triple-layered fabric delivers excellent wind protection and insulation. The fill features 700 fill power European water-repellent down (90% down, 10% feather), ensuring reliable warmth even in cold and damp conditions.
The yoke uses a single piece of cowhide leather tanned with a combination of tannin and chrome. This process gives the leather both softness and durability, while a dye finish brings out its natural character. The collar is made from genuine mouton, offering both luxurious texture and added heat retention.

Due to the nature of down feathers, some feather leakage may occur as breathability is necessary.
If feathers come through the fabric, do not pull them out forcibly. Instead, gently push them back inside from the reverse side.

This product uses natural leather with “natural marks,” preserving the material’s unique texture.
Color variations, scratches, and wrinkles may appear and are characteristics of genuine leather, adding to its charm.
Edges of leather parts may slightly lift as part of the design.
If the leather feels dry or stiff, we recommend using leather care cream to maintain softness and extend its life.
