A masterpiece item from Rocky Mountain Featherbed, the all-leather Christy vest.
This is the brand's signature model, featuring a single piece of yoke leather and a natural mouton collar.
The lining is made of the original 70 denier nylon taffeta developed when Rocky Mountain Featherbed was revived.
The down used is water-repellent down from Europe.
Normally, down loses its heat-retaining ability when it gets wet, but by applying a water-repellent coating to the down itself, we have achieved a specification that allows it to maintain its heat-retaining ability even in bad weather.
The down, which is made up of an exquisite mixture of 90% down and 10% feathers, boasts a high heat retention of 700FP, achieving amazing lightness and heat retention.
The leather on the outer surface and yoke is a combination of tannin and chrome tanned.
The dyeing process allows the leather to retain its natural texture while remaining highly durable.
The mouton used is native to America and is a great item that can be worn without a scarf if the collar is turned up.
◆Regarding product specifications and individual differences: Our products are carefully sewn in Japan.
・Due to the characteristics of natural leather, there may be uneven coloring or scratches on the leather parts or mouton parts. This is a natural mark and is proof that the leather is natural. There are individual differences in texture, but please enjoy it as a characteristic of natural leather.
- The edges of the leather may stand up. Please understand that this is a design feature.
- If you are concerned about the leather drying out or hardening, use a leather care cream or similar to nourish it.
・In order to make the most of the feathers' properties, the fabric needs to have a certain level of breathability. Therefore, feathers will inevitably blow out. If feathers blow out from the surface of the fabric, do not try to pull them out by force. Instead, pull the feathers from the back side and return them to the inside of the product.
